In 2009 my husband and I became a couple and married a year later in 2010. then in 2014 my husbands sisters friend, Jackie Vela came into our lives posing as a friend. She started sleeping over weekends and showing up randomly at our house. Then things progressed to going to concerts, bar hopping, parties, sporting events,fishing trips, etc. All the while he would take only her and leave his wife and child at home. I complained that she was dating him. He said I was crazy. Then her friends outed her love for my husband. I asked him repeatedly to leave her in the dust, and he just wouldn’t let go. This woman had already slept with my husbands best friend, that boys girlfriend, and made out with my husbands Aunt Susan at a public event witnessed by all. At this point Jackie teamed up With Susan Conner to really start undermining my relationship.. They decided I would be better as an ex wife and slip Jackie comfortably into my place. It took over six months to break down my husband to the point where he was willing to break our vows. Jackie took my husband out to a bar got him so drunk he unaware of himself. He passed out at her house. When he woke up the deed had been done and his fate was sealed. At home tensions went through the roof. I wanted her out of our lives, still not aware of the infidelity. Jackie pressed him for more time, money, and sex. and my husband found himself the rope in a tug of war contest.
My husband finally admitted the affair in January 2015, The sleeping together had been going on since August 2014. We had a huge fight and he left to go live with Jackie, while me and our daughter started packing our house. He was going to come and live in our house after we moved out. After 5 days of living with Jackie and her mother, who not condoned the relationship but encouraged it, he ran home as fast as he could. Seeing his whole life packed up and walking out the door we came to the agreement that I would stay but Jackie had to go. Forever.
My husband and I started rebuilding our relationship, but Jackie has attached herself to my husband’s entire family. Everytime we turn around Jackie is there. Jackie is across the street, at the store, everywhere we are, his family brings her long. Like she isn’t a homewrecking whore.
What they don’t realize is we are about to change our whole life and they won’t be a part of it. We are going to change jobs, move to a different city and just generally start our lives over. My husband and I are an amazing team and we can play anywhere.
