Julie Anne Monroe in San Antonio, Texas is stealing my husband Tony at one of the lowest points in my life. A little over a year ago, she found my husband on Facebook. They went to high school together, but never dated back then. She is also married by the way. So for about a year they just talked occasionally and I could always see what was said because he never hid the messages and they were innocuous.
Admittedly, I was preoccupied with other major issues in my life and was not paying attention to him. (2 relatives died suddenly, sold some property…at a loss, and then had to sit for the NY bar in the middle of it all while trying to start a new job.) He never gave me any emotional support throughout this rough time and started becoming more distant. He never told me that he wanted my attention until I discovered their online affair.
I had to borrow his computer and discovered a secret email address he was using and suddenly all their FB messages had been erased. I knew immediately who it was and confronted her via message. She lied…made me think I was nuts. Tony lied too.
He now has bought a plane ticket to go see her for a weekend in December. He has no remorse for what he is putting me and our family through. I’m sure she doesn’t either. I’ve tried contacting her husband to no avail. I’m completely heartbroken and even tried suicide, but thankfully Tony saved me and got me to a hospital where the doctors were able to give me some great advice. This is not my husband’s first affair…but this time it feels much worse because we have an 8 year son who is going to suffer from this as well.
